Nicky Moffatt, former editor of leading monthly equestrian title Horse&Rider Magazine, began her career 17 years ago as editorial assistant on both Horse&Rider and its sister title, PONY. Having held many posts in the DJ Murphy Publishing organisation, including that of deputy editor, Nicky took on the editorship of Horse&Rider in 2008 during which time it became the best selling equestrian monthly.

 

Nicky eventually left the Surrey-based publisher in favour of a move to Devon where she now manages a thriving freelance career with riding and competing her horses Eek and Amelie.
